WaGW Fashion Show for a Cure | Beavercreek, OH.

This past weekend I was asked to shoot an event called WaGW Fashion Show. “What a Girl Wants” is an ’80s themed fashion show for a cure. Check out www.wagwevents.com …they put on several incredible events for research for a cure for cancer. When Will asked me to shoot this event he said “we don’t just want event coverage we want to remember what people felt on that day.” I cannot tell you how touched I was to be part of this special event…the emotion that I saw, the love and support that everyone showed each other made my heart happy. It reminded me that we are not alone in our struggles. It was one big family and I was right there documenting all of it trying so hard not to cry myself. All of the survivors at this event got up on stage with their family & friends and shared their inspiring stories. They say a picture is worth 1,000 words …so hopefully these photos give you a small glimpse into what I experienced on that day. XO Steph

This is so awesome, heartwarming and fun. Laughed and cried while viewing it. So inspiring for all that need it,and who doesn’t need it. LOVE!

This year, I have to say was the absolute BEST! It all just magically came together by this fabulous group of hard working, heart working people. Being back stage most of the show, I feel like I am in the audience watching the show as an attendee….what a special gift you have. Thank you for capturing our most special moments of the event. Truly.

I don’t think anyone could have captured it better. I’ve looked at these 3 times already today–and it hits it all home, where it should be. Your heart shines through in these photos..and everyone else’s. What an honor to have shared in this. There is no more powerful healer, mover and shaker than love–and there was so much love in this event. Hats off to you Steph, your assistants and everyone else who contributed.
