About a month ago I got to spend a 4 day weekend in Mystic, CT at a lakehouse with these gorgeous girls and their entire family! It was one of those weekends where I am kind of still in shock. I sat on the swing overlooking the lake drinking a glass of white wine and getting sappy about how thankful I am that this is what I get to spend my days doing. I meet amazing people, travel, share stories and laughter with their families and document the entire thing. So rad.
I met Kimmie in NYC for the first time this spring and actually didn’t get to meet Marie until the weekend of their wedding. They found me online and I knew we were going to hit it off right away. They are both so extremely thoughtful. I got a package in the mail a few months before their wedding with a new camera strap and coffee beans from a roaster in Mystic. I love these girls and am so happy that they chose me to be involved in their wedding weekend. Not only did I make new friends that weekend but I was told that I officially became part of their Puerto Rican family. What an honor. We had big breakfasts together, took a boat out in the lake while it was sprinkling, sipped champagne by the pool and had long conversations on the dock late into the night.
