ABOUT ME
Hi! My name is Steph Grant. Owner of Steph Grant Studios and Founder of the Promote Love Movement (a safe space for the LGBTQ+ community raised in a religious environment to connect and share their stories). I believe in the importance of being visible and vocal for those in our community who cannot. Sharing our stories can change minds and softens hearts. I have experienced this firsthand through my work as a photographer and during my own coming out process. It’s so rewarding to have complete strangers say that they felt like they had a front row seat at the weddings that I have shot or that after seeing my images and stories they can no longer support their stance against the LGBTQ+ community.
As an out lesbian photographer my primary focus is to make you feel comfortable so that your personalities and love are captured in every wedding photograph. I love every second of my job. I have worked very hard to be exactly where I am…and that is right here in this moment with you. My goal is to get to know your love story & to tell it with my images.
This is a wedding EXPERIENCE…I would like to be included in your life stories rather than just the basics of what you want on your wedding day. I am slowly steering away from the “day of” wedding package and only booking weekend or week long wedding experiences. So much happens leading up to your actual wedding day and the memories don’t stop after the dancing. We’re just getting started! Take me on your road trips, in a tiny seaplane, let’s go parasailing or go to Burning Man together and document the entire thing. Couples spend so much time and energy on planning the perfect wedding and honeymoon adventures…all of it deserves to live on. Currently, I only book 10 elopements/intimate weddings per year.
